What does a home heart check include?

Can you do an ECG at home?
A resting ECG at home may be possible depending on availability. We confirm this when you book. Some tests need a clinic.
Are echo, stress tests and Holter monitors done at home?
No. An echocardiogram, stress test and Holter fitting are done at a clinic or hospital. We explain why you may need them and help arrange a referral.
What should I do if I think I am having a heart attack?
Call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department straight away. Signs include chest pain or pressure, pain spreading to the arm or jaw, shortness of breath and cold sweat. Do not wait for a home visit.
Will the doctor change my heart medicines?
Any change to your medicines is decided by the doctor only, after reviewing you. Please do not stop or change medicines on your own.
